Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website, including programme discovery, candidate
applications, document uploads and partnership enquiries.

Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Solchem Ottman Nigeria Limited.

Nature of the service

Solchem facilitates engineering and HSE training. Solchem prepares candidates, coordinates classroom and practical delivery and supports examination preparation.

Solchem is not an examination body and does not award certification. Certification is awarded solely by the relevant independent certifying or examination body, according to that body’s own criteria.

Applications and selection

When you submit an application you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate, current and your own.
  • Uploaded documents are genuine and you are entitled to submit them.
  • You understand that submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
  • You accept that places are limited and allocated against published eligibility criteria.
  • You accept that a programme may be rescheduled, closed early or cancelled.

Fees and payment

Where a programme fee applies it is stated on the programme page. Fees are confirmed in writing after selection. Any fee arrangement, including sponsorship by an employer, is subject to a separate written agreement.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information or documents.
  • Submit multiple duplicate applications for the same cohort.
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to interfere with the platform.
  • Attempt to access administrative areas or another person's application.
  • Copy programme content for commercial reuse without written permission.

Intellectual property

Programme descriptions, curricula, imagery, written content and the Solchem name and marks are owned by Solchem or its partners. Certifying-body names and marks remain the property of those bodies and are referenced only to describe the relevant certification pathway.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but may suspend access for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control. Programme information is provided in good faith and may change; the programme page is the current record.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Solchem is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, from a certification decision made by an independent body, or from reliance on programme information that has subsequently changed.

Security

Access to candidate and enquiry records is restricted by role. Administrative accounts are individually assigned, activity is logged, and sensitive actions require confirmation. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but Solchem applies proportionate controls to protect the information you submit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
